Technical Specifications:

(1)Wooden Box with Aluminium Block Fixture  and a dowel on the top

(2) Aluminium Block  Fixed on the top of wooden box having dimensions:

(i) Area  (13cm ×7.5cm =97.5 cm²)

(ii) Mass of Aluminium block (350 gms )

(iii) Specific Heat of Aluminium : 0.215 Calories /(gram ⁰C)

(3) Styrofoam to prevent heat dissipation of Aluminium block

(4) Thermometer (110⁰C) to measure the temperature of Aluminium block

(5)  Stop Watch to note down the time during the experiment.

(6) Elevation Adjuster made up of steel
