OSAW Student Kelvin Double Bridge is used to measure the Unknown Low Resistance

Description

Technical Specifications:

(i)The Variable arm of the bridge consists of a decade dial of 0.1 Ohms step and a graduated scale(0.1 Ohms divided in 100 equal parts)the value of one scale division at multiplier 1 is 0.001 Ohms.

(ii)A double ratio box is also incorporated in the same box in order to avoid inconvenience.

Two sets of Ratio arms are provided and selected simultaneously by leads of galvanometer

Giving multiplying factor of 100 , 10 , 1 , 0.1 and 0.01.

(iii)A battery press key and a jockey which slides on the scaled slide wire is provided for detection of Balance point.

(iv)Four Terminals(C1 , P1 , P2 , C2) are provided to connect the Unknown Four terminals Resistance.

(v)Two Terminals marked D.C. Source are provided to connect D.C. Supply Source.
